Emergency Mission: Operation Love | Remedy

There is a lot of fear and anxiety in the world right now.

My friend, Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer and I are hosting an emergency mission of our Secret Agents of Change so that we can all spread some kindness and love to people who are scared, overwhelmed, lonely, exhausted, or sick.

I hope you will join us.

Here’s how it works: tomorrow at 1:15pm PDT/4:15pm EDT, Rosemerry and I will go live in the Secret Agents of Change facebook group.

Rosemerry will read one of her beautiful poems. I will give a kindness prompt from that poem.

After our short time live with you, we send you off into the world to perform your simple act of kindness. Then, you report back in the Facebook group and tell us how your mission went.

You don’t have to be there with us live tomorrow afternoon, though that sure is fun for us. You can watch the video anytime tomorrow. Spread some love as the mission will dictate. Post your story by end of the day on Sunday.

We CAN support one another. We can be the antidote to chaos and fear and loss.

💥 We can love more in the face of it all. 💥

This simple community project will bring love to so many. And the first recipient, of course, is YOU.

Oh, and it is free. No cost. Just bring your generous heart.

C’mon over + bring the tissues!

What the heck am I so excited about?!

That pic up above is part of a video from the Secret Agent Challenge: Operation Love, which launched this past Sunday, Random Acts of Kindness Day.

I had no idea how extraordinarily uplifting and connecting this project would be.

I know I wrote to you about it last week, but because it has moved me so much, I want to encourage those of you who haven’t participated to come and join in, even though we’re midway through.

It is simple to join the Facebook Group and you can start wherever we are. Each day secret agents receive a poem and a prompt based on that poem. Today is day four of seven. Every prompt is a stand-alone, so there’s no sense of missing anything or being “behind.”

(Ha ha … what a great concept, “I’m so behind on my kindness. I’ve really got to catch up with my joy this week.” Or, “Sorry, I can’t go to the movie, I’m busy catching up on happy acts that make me feel giddy and alive.”)

What I most want for you is even if you join the group and don’t participate in any of the missions, even if you never say a peep, I want you to read the dozens and dozens of “kindness missions” people have been enacting. I promise you, just reading the comments under each day’s prompt will bring you so much energy. It will make your heart feel squishy and good.

Trust me.

This is the stuff life is made of.

Here are just two examples of secret agents responses to different prompts. There are dozens of stories like this being posted each day!

C’mon over! Let yourself be immersed in the beauty of human nature! It is so much better than network news!

Seek celebration — even in the dark corners,
