What the heck am I so excited about?!

That pic up above is part of a video from the Secret Agent Challenge: Operation Love, which launched this past Sunday, Random Acts of Kindness Day.

I had no idea how extraordinarily uplifting and connecting this project would be.

I know I wrote to you about it last week, but because it has moved me so much, I want to encourage those of you who haven’t participated to come and join in, even though we’re midway through.

It is simple to join the Facebook Group and you can start wherever we are. Each day secret agents receive a poem and a prompt based on that poem. Today is day four of seven. Every prompt is a stand-alone, so there’s no sense of missing anything or being “behind.”

(Ha ha … what a great concept, “I’m so behind on my kindness. I’ve really got to catch up with my joy this week.” Or, “Sorry, I can’t go to the movie, I’m busy catching up on happy acts that make me feel giddy and alive.”)

What I most want for you is even if you join the group and don’t participate in any of the missions, even if you never say a peep, I want you to read the dozens and dozens of “kindness missions” people have been enacting. I promise you, just reading the comments under each day’s prompt will bring you so much energy. It will make your heart feel squishy and good.

Trust me.

This is the stuff life is made of.

Here are just two examples of secret agents responses to different prompts. There are dozens of stories like this being posted each day!

C’mon over! Let yourself be immersed in the beauty of human nature! It is so much better than network news!

Seek celebration — even in the dark corners,
