I’m glad you are here.
Today I send you a baby squirrel, scurrying up an oak tree.
I send you chai tea, sweet with clove and cardamom.
I send you a warm breeze mid-day that smells fresh and feels good on your beautiful face.
Thank you for being here. I appreciate you!

In today’s audio LoveGram you get to meet Emma Jones, who has a powerful story about loss — and about starting over.
Hers is a story of resilience and acceptance. It is a story of what is possible if we stay close to ourselves and hold on to faith that things will get better.
I met Emma through the coffee klatches I offered. (15 minute hello calls!) Our connection is a perfect example of what is possible in a small amount of time.
In today’s LoveGram you get to hear a follow-up conversation I had with Emma because in our coffee klatch I was so moved by her story.

Most of us have gone through times in our lives when it feels as if something that is a huge part of us is crumbling. We lose people we love. We lose our homes or jobs. We lose our identity.
Emma lost her marriage, her home, both of her parents, and her work contract all within a very short amount of time.
When I met her for our first coffee klatch, she was sitting beside a fireplace in her home on Anglesey Island in Wales. It all looked so cozy and sweet. Little did I know what led her to that moment!
Thus, what started as a casual conversation about her home turned into a powerful and poetic connection.
Here’s just one quote from our talk to give you an idea: Emma says, “When you’ve got nothing left to lose, you’ve got everything to gain. I knew that there was a whole beautiful world out there waiting for me. I just needed to kind of white-knuckle my way through the dark night of the soul to kind of come out the other side.”

Listen to today’s LoveGram to hear more of Emma’s story. We all go through (or will go through) challenging times. Many of the things she shares can be applied to any losses or hard times in our lives.
I’m grateful to Emma for being willing to share her story with us.
And, I’m grateful to YOU for being here.
Please know that you matter.
Your showing up and sharing in these conversations makes a difference to me.
As Ram Dass said, “We are all just walking each other home.”
No matter where you are in the world — from a small town in Indiana to an island near Wales, we are holding hands as we traverse the ups and downs. Together.
Seek celebration — even in dark corners,
