Welcome to your Sunday LoveGram.
Thank you for being here with me to talk about things that matter!
💥💓💥
Today, I send you six just-picked sour lemons from a sweet friend.
I send you a pink-clad toddler stomping her tiny feet at Zumba in the park.
I send you a generous dollop of whipped cream in your coffee.

Today’s LoveGram is about a classic Simply Celebrate topic: celebration!
I got a text from a friend of mine saying that he felt great about a phone interview he had earlier this week. I asked him to tell me more about why he felt great. He said he felt like he really hit it off with the interviewer, they had some laughs together, and that person told him that his questions were great and he seemed like a good fit for the job.
In my next text, I wrote: “Fabulous! How will you celebrate?”
He texted back: “Too soon for that; this was just the first of several interviews.”
I bet you can guess what I wrote back!
Yep: “Celebrate NOW.” Celebrate that you researched tons of jobs. Celebrate that you got their attention with your resume. Celebrate that you prepared and prepped and it paid off. Celebrate that you had a great rapport. Celebrate that you did a fantastic job with step one.
We all know that when we flub up or something goes poorly, our Monkey Mind is at the ready to jump in right away to make us feel bad. It doesn’t wait until later to squawk in our ears!
So, when something goes well, why not pause long enough to let ourselves really take it in?
You don’t have to go buy a bottle of expensive champagne after the first interview. (Though, you could!) But you can pause and appreciate yourself. You can raise a glass to yourself at dinner and acknowledge the win-along-the-way. You could call a friend and tell ’em how good you feel — really anchor in that happy success.
Here’s the thing: my friend may or may not get that job. But that doesn’t take away from what already happened. He showed up. He prepared. He connected. He made someone laugh. He walked away feeling good about himself. Those moments belong to him, no matter what happens next.
So much of our lives happens on the way to somewhere else. Let’s not miss it while we’re waiting to see how the story turns out.
Don’t wait until you’ve accomplished the whole kit and caboodle to celebrate. Celebrate the milestones along the way. And you don’t even have to accomplish anything to let yourself celebrate. Celebrate being YOU. Celebrate living your life. Celebrate being a good person!
There’s more on this topic in today’s LoveGram. I hope you will listen in.

I appreciate you and am grateful for who you are and how you show up for your life and for the people you love.
What can you celebrate in your life right now? Will you do it?
Seek celebration — even in dark corners,
