Today I want to talk about the feeling of “belonging.”
Many of you know that as a young person, years ago, I really battled a strong sense that I didn’t belong β not to my workplace, not in my friend circles, not on the planet.
I truly believed that something had gone wrong and I was just not supposed to be here.
Thankfully, I learned that everything in life, including the feeling of belonging, is a PRACTICE.
I learned something my friend Tricia often says, “It aint over til you call it.” That means, no matter how “true” something may feel, there is still time to change that belief to something more supportive and loving!
That’s what I had the chance to do with the sense of belonging! (And if you need to, you can transform it, too!)

So, today’s audio LoveGram is about the practice of belonging.
This is a word that has been showing up for me over and over this week. And so, I want to share with you why belonging is a way of being very kind to ourselves.

My spiritual teacher, Cheri Huber, once told me, βIf you want to belong, then participate.β Iβve always remembered this because ole Monkey Mind will tell many of us that βwe donβt fit inβ or βwe donβt belong.β
However, everyone who jumps into the parade from the sidelines will immediately belong!
It is so good!
