How are you, my friend?

I’m thinking of you and popping by with a quick hello on this weekday in September.

I’m still in France as you are reading this! Thus, I scheduled this greeting before I left.

I wanted you to know that even as I was planning my vacation, I was thinking about you.

THAT, my beautiful friend, is a gift that you can give people in your own life!

If you have a trip coming up, consider writing a couple letters or cards to your favorite people who will not be traveling with you.

It can be super simple!

Just write, “As I’m packing up to go away, I’m thinking about you and how much joy you bring to my life. Thank you for being someone I look forward to seeing when I return.”

Bam! It really can be that short!

This is truly an situation where “it’s the thought that counts!”

Everyone loves to know they matter. Sending a card or letter while you are in the midst of packing and prepping tells your loved ones that they are a priority.

It’s time for our culture to reframe the way we define gifts!

Gifts are anytime we express love or appreciation to someone in an intentional way.

💥💓💥

You are a gift in my life.

And yep, that’s why even though my suitcase is not yet packed for almost a month of traveling, I wanted to make sure I “post” this letter to YOU!

I love you and am cheering you on, always.

Be gentle. Be kind. Be strong.

Thanks for who you are.

Seek celebration — even in the dark corners,
