Today I send you a pair of colorful striped socks.
I send you blue cropped hair that sticks up in a fun way.
I send you a street musician, playing an old Parisian tune on accordion.
Welcome to your Sunday LoveGram.
I’m so glad you are here with me. And I am glad to be here with you, too!
Can you believe we’ve been meeting every Sunday for FIVE years?!

Today’sΒ audio LoveGramΒ Β is a tribute and appreciation to someone I met 41 years ago when we were in college.Β
I have not been in touch with this person in all these years, however, she’s someone who left a lasting (and lovely!) impression on me.
Want to know what her legacy for me is?
She scrunched her socks!
You may not think sock scrunching could be life changing, but it was! It is!
In today’s audio, I share with you the story of how plain and milque-toast I felt when I was growing up in a small town in Ohio.
I longed to be interesting, artistic, and creative. I longed to have style and charisma.
But truthfully, there was a lot of self-expression in me that simply didn’t know how to get out.
My temporary roommate, Tracy, unknowingly unlocked a door for me when I noticed the way she scrunched her socks instead of folding them over neatly like I’d always done.

Thanks for being here with me.
I appreciate you and am grateful that we are on this journey together.
As Ram Dass said, and as I like to repeat often: We are all just walking each other home. And my hope is that as we walk, we each good to feel safer and safer being exactly who we are.
I’m here with you. I’m holding that “Olly Olly Oxen Free” space so we can all come out from hiding and know we are safe!
YOU MATTER. Never forget that.
Seek celebration β even in dark corners,
xo Sherry
