Hello Delightful You!
Today I send you a hummingbird, unexpectedly sighted in the apple tree.
I send you vanilla rooibos tea with a bit of sweet honey.
I send you a cat’s soft paw, draped across your arm as you sleep.
Welcome to your Sunday LoveGram. I’m so glad you are here with me.

I recorded today’s audio LoveGram after my winning battle against Squawky Polly this morning.
I woke up today with the thought, “Hey, I could so some wild writing practice.” (Wild Writing is a practice my friend, Laurie Wagner leads. It is a poem + a prompt + 15 minutes of free writing. It is both writing practice and meditation all in one.)
This short practice never fails to connect me to my writer self, to poetry, to my friend Laurie, to the power of community — and most importantly, the necessity of opening up to “whole mind” or Source or the “Great Sumpthin’ Sumpthin’.
There’s never any downside to this practice. Yet, as soon as that positive thought dropped in my mind this morning, ole Squawky Polly said, “no. no no.” She flapped her wings in my face and said, “I don’t wanna.” Then she rattled off a list of other things I could be doing — should be doing — instead.
Woah. The lady doth protest too much.
Isn’t it fascinating how parts of us can try to talk us out of doing things that are supportive for us? How there are these squawks or voices or belly aches that fight tooth ‘n nail to keep us from good stuff that helps us feel centered or helps us to grow?
In today’s audio, I explore this and I share a few things I did that freed me from those squawks and protests and procrastination. My process has worked for me countless times in my life.
I hope you try it and let me know if it works for you!

Thanks for being here with me, week after week. We’ve been meeting over this virtual table on Sundays ever since the pandemic started in March, 2020. Goodness! Almost five years of meaningful conversation!
Thank you for being someone who wants to celebrate all of life, even amidst the ups and downs and all arounds.
I’m here with you. You are here with me, too.
YOU MATTER. We all do.
Seek celebration — even in dark corners,
xo Sherry
