Those of you who know me, know that when I was a young woman, I went through a very challenging time dealing with depression and anxiety.

One of the things that helped save me was the practice of making something called a Love List ® ( Haha. I JUST got the trademark this week + had to use it!)

A Love List sounds simple, which it is, but the making and gifting of it are very profound.

The impact is powerful.

A Love List is a list of specific reasons (the more specific the better!) why we love someone.

It is impossible to feel bad when we are immersed in love. And with the Love List, we get to feel that uplift when making it AND again when we gift it to someone!

TODAY, as part of the Women’s National Book Association, San Francisco Chapter, I will be leading a mini-workshop on Love Lists. I’ll be offering some prompts so you can leave the workshop with a ready-made gift. (Really!!)

Please don’t discount the value of making gifts that come from our heart and creativity. Join this event and try it out. My hope is that you’ll get hooked, like I did, and this lists of love and appreciation will become a lifelong habit that is truly medicine for our spirits.

It is going to be so much FUN.

I promise, you will leave feeling lighter and more connected to what matters.
