I’ve got a really fun idea, but I need YOUR help!!
My book, “Say it Now: 33 Creative Ways to Say I Love You to the Most Important People in Your Life.” is launching April 30th and instead of the usual ole humdrum ways of marketing it, I really want to give people an experience of the book.
Something playful. Something heartfelt. Something connecting. Something that is a gift!
I want to host parties, like Tupperware Parties, except with less plastic and more heart.
I want to make Love Lists together! Virtually or in person.
What’s a Love List?? Why, it is simply a list of all the reasons you love somebody! Love Lists are sweet and funny and silly and sassy and oh-so-connecting.
Love Lists are one of the easiest ways to nurture your relationship with someone you love.
There are so many ways to present them — on paper, in a Joy Jar, as fortune cookies, as mobiles, in Easter baskets, via audio or video, etc.
Would you be willing to play host for one of these Love List parties? I sure would be grateful. And it would be a wonderfully fun way to get to know you better and spend time with you!!! ??💥
Here’s what I’d need from you:
* One hour of your time for the actual party. (If you are not in the San Francisco Bay Area, we can do it online on a video call or via telephone conference call. Easy Peasy.)
* At least five friends whom you would know would attend the party. (Could be as many as you want!)
* Willingness to send your friends reminders of the party, show up on the call ten minutes early with me, and bring your enthusiasm and joy.
I think these parties can be really simple. And people would leave the party with a Love List they can immediately send to someone! (Can you say awesome party favor?!)
I’ve got a special host/hostess gift in mind for you, but I’m hoping the experience itself will be joyful.
If you’d be willing to do this for me, I’d be incredibly grateful!!
Email me and let me know! (Sherry@Simplycelebrate.net)
Mucho gracias to you! I’m grateful for any of you who might be willing to do this. AND I’m grateful to those of you who have already bought the book! AND I’m grateful to those of you who are reading this and who are a part of the Simply Celebrate community.
You’re the best!
Seek celebration — even in the dark corners,
P.S. Have you made a Love List before? Anytime, ever? If so, would you take literally one minute to pop over to my brand new counter page so we can add your Love List (or LISTS!) to my campaign to inspire one million of ’em? Thank you oodles!!!
