Happy Friday.
I love getting to be in conversation with you about what matters most to us — especially how to best love the people in our lives and how to celebrate everyday moments of our lives.
For the past week, you and I have been exploring the idea of “purpose” together. Last Friday, I sent you an invitation to a speaker event I’m so honored to be a part of! (I will include all of that information again here! I don’t want you to miss it.)
Then, on Sunday, in my LoveGram, we looked even deeper into the question of purpose.
You may recall that I shared a beautiful poem by my friend, Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer. That poem underscored for me that a huge personal purpose in my life is kindness.
The Arrival
After I drove six hours
she welcomed me at the door
of her home
with a pair of slippers
and a glass of water—
there are many languages
I want to learn to speak fluently.
Kindness, most of all.

Sure, I believe that kindness is one of my purposes for being on this planet.
And yet, I don’t think purpose is just one thing.
I think we can have many purposes throughout our lives, and that they often evolve as we do.
We may have a big mission in life that includes writing a book or launching a business based on an idea that lights up our heart. We may want to contribute meaningfully to a team or nonprofit we believe in that aligns with our deepest values. We may want to be the most loving mom or the kindest daughter or the most compassionate friend.
I think there is a lot to think about and explore when it comes to purpose.

I recently had a wonderful conversation about purpose with a beautiful, interesting, and curious new friend of mine, Irene O’Brien, who is a Life Purpose and Empowerment Coach.
Irene has created a speaker series called Rediscover Your Purpose.
This free online interview series is created in a unique way. She comes to it, not from a place of having all the answers, but from the other side of the hardest chapter of her own life.
You will appreciate that Irene, like all of us, is always curious to learn more!
During the course of our conversation, we covered some juicy questions and topics, such as:
- How can we listen to our own still, small voice to help discover our quiet yearnings?
- Do our accomplishments necessarily link to purpose?
- What role does creativity or curiosity play in finding purpose?
- How do we tap into new possibilities that open doors to unimagined purpose?
- Is it possible to find purpose even in our last days on earth?
If you sign up for this free series, you will have the chance to listen in on my conversation with Irene. AND, you will also have access to more than a dozen other women who share their thoughts on purpose.
And, guess what? You will also have the opportunity to download some amazing resources from Irene’s guest speakers. It really is a generous series, designed to support you!
The series begins on June 14th! Sign up now so you don’t miss anything!

As always, thanks for being here with me.
Ram Dass says, “We are all just walking each other home.” Thank you for holding hands with me along the journey! You make it better.
You always help me discover more about myself.
You help me express my purpose and explore new possibilities along our way.
Seek celebration — even in dark corners,
