How are you, my friend?

I don’t know about you, but yeesh, these have been some hard days filled with heartache and heartbreak for me — both personally and also, collectively here in the United States.

If you are feeling that too, I’m giving you a huge virtual hug!

You know what helps?

Reading.

For me, when I curl up in a cozy armchair with a bowl of popcorn and a good book, it helps me tune out the world and tune into myself.

Reading helps connect me to a bigger perspective and to deeper wisdom.

Sometimes that kind of reflection — or even distraction! —  can be a celebration moment, indeed.

💥💓💥

I’m so grateful to have two published books. The name of my publisher is Books That Save Lives.

I love that name. Because whether or not there is a direct connection to “this book literally saves lives” or whether it is more in the sense I just described, as in, “this book is saving my sanity right now and helping me survive,” books DO SAVE US!

Right now there is a fantastic sale — unbelievable prices! — on book bundles at a company called Fanatical.

It is a collection of nonfiction books that can help us get through hard stuff or to feel slightly uplifted, even in the most challenging of times.

I am grateful that my book, “Say It Now,” is included in the bundle offer.

Here’s the link to get my book or some other uplifting ebooks from as low as 39 cents to one dollar!

Books have saved me over and over again.

Read more books.

Celebrate everything you are and feel.

Thanks for who you are. You deserve a celebration moment today.

Seek celebration — even in the dark corners,
