Welcome to your Sunday LoveGram.

Thank you for being here with me. If you listen to today’s audio, you will hear how much you inspire me. [Spoiler alert: A LOT!}

I love our connection.

YOU MATTER!

Today’s LoveGram showed up for me at the 11th hour, just when I was feeling like I didn’t have anything to share.

I had walked into the studio to make your recording, but my mind was blank! Usually something drops in that I’ve been thinking about, but … not today! Nuthin’ was there.

But then, I decided to read today’s poem by my friend Rosemerry. (She sends one via email every single day!)

Voila! Instant inspiration.

One of the best things about what happened is that it happens to be very meta. Her poem is about taking in what life gives us!

When I read this, I was also reminded of something my spiritual teacher, Cheri Huber, often says, “take what is on offer.”

In other words, Life is always handing us something. Are we taking what is given? Or, are we turning away, refusing what is here because we really want something else?

Here’s Rosemerry’s poem! I also read it to you in the audio and added lots of other thoughts:

With My Open Heart as Bait

What are you catching today?

I asked the man on the pier.

Nothin’, he said.

What do you wish you were catching?

I asked.

Anything, he said.

And could I be so brave?

Could I throw out my line

to the ocean of the world,

stand there at the edge,

patient and still,

and say to life, anything,

anything at all, whatever you give me,

I’ll reel it in. I’ll take it.

I appreciate you and am grateful for your kind and compassionate heart.

Thank you for being on the other end of my fishin’ line today!

Seek celebration — even in dark corners,
