In today’s audio LoveGram we are in conversation about something that is perhaps a tad unexpected: end-of-life.
I’m working on a book that is set to be published later this year and it is about how planning for our end of life can be one of the most meaningful and loving gifts we can give to people we love.
I called this LoveGram “Are You Ready?” because no matter what age we are or how healthy we are, it is a good time to at least start thinking about some of the end-of-life stuff.
Talking about death doesn’t have to be grim or depressing. In fact, there are so many ways that talking about death brings me to life.
When I remember I’m going to die, you can bet that I am much more likely to live with intention. I’m more likely to schedule time with people I love. I’m more likely to plan those trips or write those books or hop in the gondola for a ride on Lake Merritt!
I hope you don’t let the topic scare you away from listening. My intent with this upcoming book — and today’s audio!— is to bring some joy and friendly companionship on this essential journey.
