Hello Delightful You,
How are you, my friend? I’m thinking of you today and sending big love your way.
I’m also sending a small, simple reminder for a practice that will bring you a sense of peace and joy.
Do you remember me telling you about the Sparkle Stroll? It may have been a couple years ago that I last talked about it, but it is a practice I do all the time.
A Sparkle Stroll is simple this: You step outside and set the intention to see at least ten beautiful things.
That’s it!
Well, I mean, you do gotta walk around the block or pause in the park. But it is a super easy way to give you mind and senses something lovely to focus on.
Will you try it today?

One of my favorite quotes is by Bill Cunningham: “Those who seek beauty are sure to find it.”

When I stepped out for a Sparkle Stroll, here’s what I found:
- Fuchsia flowers.
- The way the leaves on the tree looked like they were waving at me.
- A woman in a red hat walking three tiny dogs.
- A wave from a mom on a bike and her little daughter in the back cart-thingie. Their colorful bicycle helmets looked like bird crowns.
- An elderly gentleman, slightly bent over, sweeping the sidewalk. How he nodded to me, the slightest smile when I greeted him.
- The wide sky over there, in the distance.
- The caw-caw of a crow I named “Merrily.”
- Big cactus that looked like small monsters.
- How the tiny houses looked like a necklace on that far-away hill.
- The dirty spots on the sidewalk, from gum or other smashed trash reminded me of when my son was two and said, “Look mommy, polkie dots!”

There is so much heartache in the world right now, I encourage you to find a slice of time to connect with whatever beauty speaks to you.
Celebration is waiting for us, just outside the door.
I love you and am cheering you on, always.
Thanks for who you are.
Now, take a stroll and feed your soul.
Seek celebration — even in the dark corners,
