Welcome to your weekly Audio LoveGram.

Today I send you dandelion puffs.

I send you that feeling arriving home, key in your own door.

I send you a surprise text from a friend with a photo attached.

Our audio LoveGram this week is about being a little bit brave.

I re-watched the Sara Bareilles video, Brave, earlier this week when I wasn’t feeling very brave.

I noticed that simply watching that video gave me a boost of energy and reminded me that there is a part of myself who know how to be brave.

Sometimes it can be helpful to remind ourselves that there are parts of us who are bigger and stronger than the one that is currently walking around the world.

We can support ourselves in feeling just a tiny bit more energy or courage. And, if we are already feeling lots of oomph, we can do things to celebrate that awesome energy.

The most important thing is that no matter what state we are in, can we be present with ourselves and take care of ourselves? Can we be kind, gentle, and accepting?

There is a second aspect to today’s LoveGram. It comes courtesy of my friend, Janet. (Hello Janet! 👋 )

I had posted a link to that Brave video on my Facebook page. Janet commented below the photo and told me the story of dancing in the grocery store with her sister when an old 80’s song came on the store sound system.

Those “small” moments take big courage, don’t they? We have to be brave enough to let loose and to follow our joyful energy.

It is a gift to others when we break free of the same-ole, same-ole, and we do something unexpected like take someone’s hand and twirl them around in the middle of the cereal aisle at Safeway.

I wasn’t there with Janet and her sister. But simply hearing her story made me happy. It connected me to the times I’ve had those sweet and silly memorable moments with people.

Up above I put the word small in quotation marks because these moments are actually REALLY big and REALLY important.

These moments are our lives.

As you are reading this, I hope you are thinking of tiny moments in your own life where you were brave enough to break out of the shell and connect to someone in a more meaningful or more silly or more joyful way.

I am so glad you are here.

We need each other.

We remind one another of what is really essential. Like how Janet reminded me to be a little more brave today!

I appreciate the many ways you connect to other people and to your life.

Please know how much you matter.

Seek celebration — even in dark corners,

xo Sherry
