Today’s audio LoveGram was inspired by a wonderful woman named Fannie, who is pictured above.

I met Fannie on the airplane coming back to the Bay Area after my work trip last week. As you can see, Fannie was sporting a beautiful and fancy hat, which caught my attention.

I complimented her style and asked her if it was a special occasion. She grinned! She said, “I’m surprising my 85-year-old sister by showing up for her birthday!”

Yep, Fannie was making a grand gesture of love for her sister! 

It made me so happy to hear about this surprise.

I agree! Can you think of surprises or grand gestures you’ve made for people? Or, that people have made for you?

What grand gesture could YOU make for someone you love? 

It might be hopping on a plane to surprise them. But it could also be something more doable, but still grand. A littler grand gesture!

Maybe you could text someone this week and say, “I’m bringing dinner over tomorrow night!” or “I’m gonna babysit your kids so you and your husband can go out.” 

I know you are here because you are always thinking about ways to love better and with extra oomph! Let me know if you make a fun gesture this week, okay?
