Hello Beautiful Friend!
Thanks for being on this ever-unfolding journey with me!
I’m actually in Austin right now, working at GrowthDay LIVE, a motivational conference with more than 2000 people!
(I recorded and scheduled today’s LoveGram in advance so you would know I love you!)
I think you’d like the messages that are being delivered at this gathering — it is all about how to live our best lives.
And, by “our best lives” that means whatever it means to each of us.
Although one thing I know for sure about you and your best life is that it includes truly caring about enjoying small moments in your life and with the people you love!
I see your big heart! I see your willingness!

So, in light of that, in today’s audio LoveGram we are in a conversation about the word “success.”
The world or our culture will try to tell us what success means. But we don’t have to adopt any sort of common definition!
We can choose for ourselves what it means.
It is so essential that each of us defines the word for ourselves so we can be intentional about living that life and not living someone else’s prescription for success.

I made this recording for you because I found an audio that I’d created about what success means to me. It isn’t about checking things off a long to-do list or even about reaching certain milestones or achievements.
For me, success is when I feel alive!
It is when I am paying attention to what makes me feel curious and I go in that direction.
It is when I am thinking about someone and in that moment, I connect with them.
For some people, success might be earning enough money for a big home or fancy car. For other people, success might mean traveling the world. To some it may mean having a close family and special rituals. For some people it might be creative projects.
Your definition of success might include any of those things or something entirely different. The important thing is to not let other people define anything for us. We get to choose our definition of success and measure ourselves by that very personal definition.

I’m so grateful for you.
I’m so grateful for our connection and that we can share what matters most together.
Thank you for being with me!
Seek celebration — even in dark corners,
xo Sherry
