Questions to ask someone’s child:
- Your name and age?
- What do you love best about your mom/dad?
- What are some of your favorite things you do with your mom/dad?
- Do you ever go on trips or vacations with your family? What do you like best about these trips?
- What are some of your hobbies?
- What makes you happy?
- What do you think makes your mom/dad happy?
- What makes your mom/dad different than any other mom/dad that you know?
- What do you feel the most proud of about yourself?
- If I asked your mom/dad why she/he is proud of you what do you think they’d say?
- Are there any words of wisdom or favorite sayings that your mom/dad tells you?
- Is there anything else you’d like to share with me about your mom/dad?
Questions to ask someone’s parent:
- Your name and age?
- What do you love best about your daughter/son?
- What are some of your favorite memories of times you’ve spent with your daughter/son?
- Do you remember any special stories from when she/he was a child?
- How about your own childhood? What are some of your favorite stories as a child?
- Where were you born?
- Can you tell me about your own family?
- Can you tell me the three things in your life that you feel the most proud about?
- What do you think are the things that your daughter/son feels the most proud about?
- If you could tell the world one thing that feels like the biggest piece of wisdom you’ve learned in your life, what would it be?
