LoveGram: Want more meaning in your life?

Hello Friend,

Welcome to this week’s LoveGram.

Today, I send you the sweet smells of the local bakery, early in the morning.

I send you a variety of red flowers, vibrant in the sun.

I send you the gong-gong of the church bells in some ancient city.

Today, my LoveGram is about one of the ways we give moments of our lives more meaning.

It is about how we feel a greater sense of being alive.

It is how we weave our own colorful tapestry of story.

When you listen, you’ll hear a story from my life about the sound of gongs.

It starts with the ordinary sound of musical gongs in the background of an audio meditation. Then, it continues with a little serendipity of the sound of church bells gonging nearby while I am doing that meditation in an apartment in Toulouse, France.

It continues through Cascais, Portugal and up until the moment my LoveGram ends! Which means YOU are woven into this story. (YAY!)

Maybe you noticed that up above, I used the phrase “tapestry of story.”

When we intentionally seek meaning in our lives, it is like that.

Moments of our lives become multi-textured and multi-colored.

They form an invisible (but palpable) artwork we continue to create as the years go on.

When we think about our lives in that way, we imbue them with a sense of poetry.

One of the very first taglines I ever used for Simply Celebrate was this: “Turning ordinary days into an extraordinary life.”

THAT is what we’re doing today, right? We are creating the extraordinary.

What does this look like for YOU? What do you see in your own life around themes or patterns or serendipities?

How do YOUR “ordinary” days feel extraordinary? How do you create a tapestry from separate single threads?

And how do you weave in other people into your story? Whose stories intersect yours?

This is what we are exploring in the audio today.

***

What if we could weave ourselves into an even bigger story? An even more colorful moment?

I hope you will take 15 minutes to listen to this week’s LoveGram now.

Find a comfy place to lie down. Or, you can walk outside and get some fresh air while you listen.

Thank you for being on this journey of love, celebration, and appreciation with me.

I’m grateful for your presence in my life.

You matter.

Seek celebration — even in dark corners,

xo Sherry

P.S. Here’s a video of a “sound bath” with gongs so you get a sense of what it is.
