LoveGram: Connect to someone you love!

I started creating these audio LoveGrams at the beginning of the pandemic. None of us imagined how long this would go on or how much loss and grief it would bring.

In addition to the gravity of death and illness, many of us are really lonely for the people we love.

Today’s LoveGram speaks to that!

You’ll hear about something my friends and I did as a gift for a mutual friend for her milestone birthday. We couldn’t be with her in person, but this was a gift that connected us all.

AND, just as importantly, it was a gift that brought some essential levity and laughter.

Here’s the link to today’s LoveGram, your 15-minutes of self-care.

And here’s the link to the one-of-a-kind gift we made.

Please, do try this at home, folks!

Hopefully it will help you connect to someone you love.

Seek celebration — even in dark corners,

xo Sherry

P.S. In the Dance Video,  the first three minutes are us dancing, followed by messages to our friend. At around minute 4:15, you can see the awesome response from Laurie as she watched the video while we were all on a video call with her.  Then, as a special bonus, Andrea Scher talks with me about this gift — the behind-the-scenes and some how-to-tips. That’s at minute 9:20.

Emergency Mission: Operation Love | Remedy

There is a lot of fear and anxiety in the world right now.

My friend, Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer and I are hosting an emergency mission of our Secret Agents of Change so that we can all spread some kindness and love to people who are scared, overwhelmed, lonely, exhausted, or sick.

I hope you will join us.

Here’s how it works: tomorrow at 1:15pm PDT/4:15pm EDT, Rosemerry and I will go live in the Secret Agents of Change facebook group.

Rosemerry will read one of her beautiful poems. I will give a kindness prompt from that poem.

After our short time live with you, we send you off into the world to perform your simple act of kindness. Then, you report back in the Facebook group and tell us how your mission went.

You don’t have to be there with us live tomorrow afternoon, though that sure is fun for us. You can watch the video anytime tomorrow. Spread some love as the mission will dictate. Post your story by end of the day on Sunday.

We CAN support one another. We can be the antidote to chaos and fear and loss.

💥 We can love more in the face of it all. 💥

This simple community project will bring love to so many. And the first recipient, of course, is YOU.

Oh, and it is free. No cost. Just bring your generous heart.
