Here we are, walking each other home. Still. Through it all.

Today, I send you the magnolia tree up the street, most of its beautiful purple petals fallen on the ground.

I send you the happy brown dog, running on three legs, chasing joy.

I send you the last two pieces of pie your grandma made, the way you both savor the sweetness. The way you share smiles.

Today’s audio LoveGram is about the two sides of the being-human coin — celebration and sadness, sorrow and joy.

It is about how we navigate ourselves through a world that includes so much grief and yet, around every corner are awe and beauty, too.

How do we hold it all?

(To listen to the audio, just click over to this page, scroll down, and hit “play” on the audio player.)

I hope you’ll listen to today’s audio and reflect on what it means for you.

I hope you’ll give yourself the spaciousness to walk in nature or sit outside in your yard while you listen.

I hope you will allow yourself to breathe in sunshine and birdsong, too.

Maybe bring a journal along with you so after you listen to my audio, you can then listen deeply to what is inside of you. You can let yourself be surprised by what wants to be written, what wants to be seen, what has been waiting for your attention.

Please, don’t rush by.

Listen.

Feel the sunshine on your face.

Show up for yourself.

And from there, when you ask, “how can I help?” you will be surprised what’s there to give from the generous well of your sweet heart.

Thank you for being here with me.

Thank you for being someone on my list of people I love and appreciate.

Thank you for the ways you practice love.

Seek celebration — even in dark corners,

xo Sherry

P.S. The poem in my LoveGram is Kindness by Naomi Shihab Nye.

P.P.S. On Wednesday, March 16th, The Mango Publishing Heart Wisdom Panel I facilitate was focused on “Finding Awe + Joy in Difficult Times.” I hope you will watch the replay. It was such medicine for the heart. Next week’s will be on Caring for our Mental Health. This could be for you or to care for someone you love. To register, email Brianna at brianna@mangopublishinggroup.com. These panels are always uplifting, inspiring, warm, and friendly. We welcome you!

P. P.P.S. Once again, here is one Ukrainian Etsy Shop where you can download art for $10 or more. There are many others to choose from. Search on “Ukrainian Sellers.” You can leave personal messages for the sellers you buy from.
